The corner café Fajara needed
Attaya Café started with a simple wish: a calm, friendly spot where you could get a proper cup of coffee, a real glass of attaya, and something warm from the oven — without rushing.
We brew the way it should be done, pound and brew our attaya over three slow rounds, and bake our bread, croissants and cakes fresh each morning in the back. Whether you're here to work, to meet a friend, or just to sit under the fan with a cake, there's always a seat for you.

Attaya (3 Rounds)
The full Gambian ritual — gunpowder green tea brewed and poured over three rounds, sweet and minty.
Touba Coffee
Spiced Senegambian coffee with grains of selim pepper and clove. Bold, warming and aromatic.
Butter Croissant
Laminated by hand and baked golden each morning. Crisp outside, soft and buttery within.
Celebration Cake (per slice)
A generous slice of our cake of the day — sponge, frosting and fruit. Whole cakes to order.
Chicken Sandwich
Grilled marinated chicken, salad and house sauce in fresh-baked bread. A proper lunch.
Fruit Smoothie
Mango, banana and baobab blended thick with yoghurt and a touch of honey. Cold and creamy.

Yes — birthdays, naming ceremonies and weddings are our favourite orders. Message us on WhatsApp with your date, flavour and size, and we'll bake it fresh and have it ready for you.
Do you do takeaway and delivery?+
Takeaway, always — order ahead on WhatsApp and skip the wait. We also deliver within Fajara and the Senegambia area for larger orders. Just ask.
Is there space to sit and work?+
Plenty. We've comfy seats, ceiling fans, plug points and free Wi-Fi. You're welcome to settle in with a coffee and stay as long as you like.
