Built for the Smiling Coast

Jambar Rides started in a Serrekunda workshop with one question: why is getting around so expensive? Fuel prices climb, taxis are crowded, and a car is out of reach for most.

Electric changes the maths. Our bikes are assembled and serviced here, by Gambian technicians who know what a pothole on the Kombo Coastal Road does to a wheel.

Clean, affordable movement for every Gambian — no fuel queue, no fumes, no compromise.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when the battery runs low far from home?+

Every bike ships with a charger you can plug in anywhere with mains power. For long upcountry trips we recommend a spare swap battery, which doubles your range.

Is it safe on Gambian roads?+

All models have dual disc brakes, lights, and a horn. We include a DOT-rated helmet and run a free 30-minute safety briefing with every purchase.

Can I pay in instalments?+

Yes. We offer a 3-month plan with 40% down. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll set it up the same day.

How long does a battery last?+

Around 800 full charge cycles — roughly 3–4 years of daily riding — before it drops to 80% capacity. The pack is covered for 2 years.
